You don't have mathematical calculation to come up with optimization proposal but you can work together with those personnels and try to find literatures related. i believe you are able to do it as long as you desire on it. i was scared when i got this case, since i didn't have any idea about the solution. hope this article will give a little bit of problem description on the field.
