Regional Symposium on Chemical Engineering 2007

The Regional Symposium on Chemical Engineering (RSCE) provides a forum for academicians, researchers and professional from both public and private organizations, particularly in the Asia region, to exchange knowledge and information of relevance to the chemical industries. The Organizing Committee welcomes academics, engineers, scientists and industrialists to participate and contribute to this symposium.

The Regional Symposium on Chemical Engineering has become an important annual forum for academicians, researchers and practitioners in the South East and Pacific Asian region, to exchange knowledge and information in the broad area of chemical engineering science and technology. This event has a pivotal role in improving chemical engineering research and linkages in Asean region. The past symposia were held in:

• Philippines (1994, 1998, 2003)
• Thailand (1995, 1999, 2004)
• Indonesia (1996, 2001)
• Malaysia (1997, 2002)
• Vietnam (2005)
• Singapore (2000, 2006)

To continue the excellent tradition in promoting the interchange of idea among researchers and practitioners from a variety of institutions and industries working in or related to Chemical Engineering, the 14th Regional Symposium on Chemical Engineering (RSCE 2007) is scheduled to take place on 4 – 5 December 2007 in Indonesia. It will be organized by Chemical Engineering Department, Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia. The Organizing Committee welcomes all chemical engineering professions to participate to this symposium RSCE 2007 – Frontiers in Chemical Engineering. This year, the symposium will be followed by the International Workshop on Industrial Multiphase Flows and Reactors on 6 – 7 December 2007.

The registration fee for Indonesian students is Rp 350.000 (RSCE2007), Rp 700.000 (International Workshop), and Rp 850.000 (RSCE2007 and International Workshop).
